The ageing varnish has set and I must admit I'm rather pleased with how the thing is looking.
The mahogany stained ash body is pretty swish and I've spoodled and a polished the frets and neck, so all is good to go once the tuners and pickup/wiring from Marc arrive next week.
Young Marc at Mojo has sent me a foto of the pickup (TV Jones sized P90 - nice) along with a one-of-a-lifetime bright pink Tickled Pink Jooky Cap, which is rather cool even if nobody sees it.But we'll know it is there, won't we?
Hopefully everything will be together and strummable in the next week or so...lovely.
