Well, I noticed the other day that the rather spiffy Strat - The Chi Chi One - is up on the block on Ebay and at the moment is looking likely to go for silly cheap numbers..
Nothing to do with me anymore, but if you are looking for a seriously cool Strat, Mojo PAF and HB sized P90s, beautiful au natrel finish and a BB King scratchplate...well, you might be worth having a shufty.
I hate to think what the parts alone would cost (and I am seriously tempted myself, which would break all manner of rules and I can't - I CAN'T I tell thee..) and I hate to say it, but it would cost you nearer to a grand now if I was making another (which of course I won't).
The original spec is Here
Anyway, it is Here and worth a cheeky punt I would think..

The Psychedelic Surf One - Up For Grabs on t'Bay
Well, a long time ago in a land a lot like here, I somehow made a rather excellent guitar and fell in love with it.
Then like the pimp I clearly am, I sold it's booty like Cornflakes.
I've made quite a few now - nearly 50 (which is worrying but I'll gloss over that) - yet The Psychedelic Surf One is one of a handful I could easily break my own golden rules over.
But it went to a top chap called James and he made a lot better use of it than I ever could, so all is well.
Anyway, time stands still for no guitar(ist) and James is moving my wee beaut on.
In fact somebody asked if I could authenticate it and pointed me at it on Ebay yesterday HERE and I would be surprised if it is around too long.
If I had the dosh it wouldn't be, that's for sure.
*sigh*
It is odd, but it was only the 3rd guitar I made and, well, I still miss it.
Clearly it will be worth millions in years to come, and me and James will both cry over it's loss.
Heh ho
This is it in action...

| A guitar that hasn't been sold like a slave |
So when a chap dropped me an email to say he'd bought one of our Jooky guitars second-hand it really shouldn't have came as a shock. It's what happens, I buy or sell them all the time, after all.
But despite all that, it did surprise me. I guess because I take them personal-like, I expect anybody that buys one to regard it as a 'keeper', and not treat it as any-old-guitar, to be bought or sold.
Unrealistic, I know, but no point being up-yer-own-bum if you won't admit it.
But there we are, there is now a market for second-hand Jookies, I'll just have to live with it.
I was a little unsure whether the fact that it was flogged on for more than I originally sold it for was a good thing or not, mind you, but there we go.
Clearly every Jooky artifact is an investment piece
*cough*
I wonder if I'll get my own ebay category?

Pimp, now appearing on ebay
In case anybody was wondering where I had put it, The Pretty In Pimp One is now up and on t'Bay, where you can make an offer and all that...
I know it is sad, but giving myself the rule that I have to flog whatever we make here, I know, makes sense, but it can be bloomin' 'ard, telling ya.
Don't feel you have to buy it yet, if you see what I mean.
You can find it on eBay HERE

The Paisley One - On The Bay
Well, I've done something I never do, over the last week or two, and got rid of a few guitars and related bobbins.
It's funny how you collect these things, but I realised that there are only so many I can actually play, and so...better to make a bit of room.
I think generally, I'm getting into the whole Jooky thing a bit more seriously now. Lots of people are visiting the 'For Sale' part of the site, and finding nothing, and more are asking when they can buy various stuff. So it would be nice to get a bit on top, I reckon. If I'm being honest, I like it too, which is the main thing.
Anyway, as the final plank of my decluttering tendency, I've put The Paisley One up on eBay, and am open to offers. That is the hard one, as it is the first Jooky guitar I've made and I have to say I love it loads, but there we are.
Half making space, and half a justification to make more guitars.
And my Tele is so ready to be made now.
The Nouveau Riche One as it is soon to be known.
If you fancy The Paisley One with it's lovely fuzz and good looks, you can buy it or make an offer HERE.

eBay - How Much Is A Despot Worth?
Well, I know we have put a price on the head of The Despotic One if you want to buy it direct from us (which would be rather nice of you as we need the money to buy some more capacitors and resistors and things), but to be totally honest, we didn't really have a clue what to charge.
I mean, on one hand it is totally unique, hand-made and a complete one-off. It has a serial number of '2', which when you think about it in Fender or Gibson terms is kinda crazy (ahem) and could mean that the amp is worth, err, millions in years to come.
But on the other, it is home made from a second hand cigar box with the electronics housed in a Swan Vestas match box.
So, its worth is probably a matter of perspective.
To help us decide whether this is crazy cheap or madly over-priced, we figured we'd let you decide (or at least the people who notice it on eBay if anybody does.)
You can see how it is doing HERE
And if nobody notices it and it remains unsold, it'll stay here and I will continue to do my best Sonic Youth impressions...
I really don't care either way.
