Well, must be a day for it, as The Velvet Pearl One is nigh on donededed.There are a few minor things left for the morning, like handpainting the Jooky logo on the pickguard, strap pins (why oh why etc.) and a pair of Gretsch knobs for that Hot-Rod-Bob look.
But it plays lovely cool, (I should say before you ask, but fotos were pre-set-up, so the saddles are more wibbly-wobbly-aligned now) looks rather stunning with it's dragon skin/petri dish Mother of Jooky finish and scorches the earth like the end of days.
This one isn't going to be for sale for it is off to Jim and hopefully appearing on his record (along with his Custom Jazzmaster - fingers-crossed) next week (or maybe the week after, I forget).
